Camshaft and Crank Q's

Camshaft and Crank Q's
So... I'm thinking of dropping my D-Series turbo project and grabbing a hold of a ITR setup. I was thinking of cleaning it up before dropping it in. I have a few questions so here we go.
1. VTEC Killer-Cams from Toda... Good for DD? I'm thinking it's not. Just that it looks like there's a lot of stress you're putting your head through.
2. Lightened crank? Necessary? Does it work well with the ITR?
3. JDM still legal swap if done correctly in Cali?
4. Is there anything that I can do for the bottom end to make it better or is the stock good enough to handle a whole TODA head package (cams, springs, valves, ITB's)?

Re: Camshaft and Crank Q's
What is ur intentions with the car?? Vtec killer cams in a DD, not meant to b, those cams r made for racing. Light weight crank is not needed for a dd nor for a toda build, more depends on the purpose of the car. There is a lot u can do to build a better bottom end but nothing that the toda head package has to have per say.
