You MUST provide all pertinent information about your car and engine. Failure to do so may result in thread closure.

do a leakdown test and compression test.
you may have a blown headgasket, because of the white smoke.
pretty sure bad rings/seals is blue smoke from oil.

edit: just saw your edit. "no loss of power" so probably not a headgasket

yeah blown headgasket doesnt always loose power

Check if the Coolant has exhaust gasses in it
http://www.cadillacforums.com/forums...-gas-head.html

or check if the oil is milky

also is your coolant slowly disappearing and there is no signs of leaks?

if you have no milky oil or disappearing coolant u can get the tester like in the DIY i posted from autozone thats how we determined my SVT headgasket

White smoke is burning coolant usually the first sign of a blown headgasket

This is 94 eg with gsr .ctr cams and pistons

Also if it was a headgasket wouldnt that mean that the car would over heat?cause my car runs cool
Also oil is not milky

Smoking under vacuum like you're describing is usually from bad valve seals.

not always did u put the ctr pistons into the block or did u buy it that way cause if the stock headstuds were reused that could be ur problem

No. There are no set sign of symptoms for headgasket issues. My wife's hatch also did not overheat.

So true. It's one of the more complex diagnoses to make on an engine as it can manifest in many different ways.

I'm curious how you knew it was a blown headgasket then. Did you just see white smoke and then do a compression and leakdown test? And/or see oil in the coolant?
