H22 vs H23
I have a 2000 Honda Accord Ex I wanna put either an H22(black top) or H23(blue top) and I was wondering if anyone knew the difference HP, Torque, etc...
I've typed in google and havent found anything except Wikipedia

I did a H23A Bluetop VTEC swap in my prelude a few months ago. Easy swap. You can definitely feel the extra torque. It for sure feels quite a bit faster than the H22A is.
For an Accord, I would assume that the H23A would probably be the easier swap since you can just leave the intake manifold and driver's side mount bracket alone.
I used a H22 4TH gen trans for the slightly shorter gearing and I used a stock H22A4 ECU. Car runs beautiful.
I used the H22 USDM oil pump housing to mount the crank sensor. I would suggest doing that. I used the stock H22A4 distributor and electronics. I also used the H22A4 intake manifold since it was going onto a prelude.
For the extra $100, I think that the H23A is definitely worth it. Although, you lose the piston squirters that the H22A has. You can, however, take the piston squirters from the H22A and bolt them on. It's only a big deal if you're going to be tracking on a road course. Even then, it really shouldn't be a HUGE deal.
Just remember that with the stock ECU, you will have to watch your shift RPM. The ECU will let you rev to 8100. I wouldn't recommend going much past like 7500 or so.

Well, my choice was to run a chipped ECU (homie don't play dat) or a tunable ECU. It wasn't that important to me. If the car ran badly with the H22 ECU, it'd be more of an issue. Honestly, it ran perfectly fine and made plenty of power. If you tuned it, I'm sure u could get some more power out of it though.
accord mounts will work on the drivers side I used the stock accord mount on both motors on the tranny side I had to redrill and tap the jdm h22 tranny and use washers under the mount to make the mount level
when putting in h22 ecu p13 do you have to change wiring
I've done research but ppl have done it differently that's why I ask and
I want swap to go good without problems
