I was trying to replace the PS high pressure line on my 2004 Accord V6, but I accidentally rounded the flare nut even that I was using a 14mm line wrench.

Now I'm stuck and really don't know how to get the flare nut off. I googled a little bit and people recommend PB blaster penetrant and mini vice-grip (the clearance is really small), so I'm wondering if this the best way to do it. Please let me know if you guys have other ideas, thanks a lot!

 

Cut the line flush with nut and wack a socket on it ,then use the rachet.

 

It's a metal line and the clearance is small, what kind of tool you suggest to cut it?

 

If you are at home conditions ,I would think about Dremel with cutoff disk.Wear the goggles!!!Or if you have a long sharp chiesel and hammer ,it would work too.

 

vice grips have almost never failed for me in that emergency situation. get that fugger on there as tight as possible, it will come off.

 

I just got the vice grip, will try it later.
