Icon2 Mil-Spec Connectors male and female?

does anyone know where to purchase mil spec connector plugs? im looking on egay and they only have the female connector plugs with pins. if you would point me in the right direction or give me a link. tia!

You'll have to buy everything (housings, pins, etc.) separately, but generally their prices are pretty good.

how do you read the chart? its confusing. what does # of positions, shell size insert, shell size military etc mean.

Decide how many pins you need and call the number for digikey. The csr should know how to place your order.. but the connections should be around 20-50 bucks each. I work on planes.. and you need a special crimper to pin the wires in these plugs.

trying to make a engine harness that exactly to rywire or chase without spending 600 + bucks

ok. any idea how much the crimpers cost and specific name they are called? also if ordering the plug will they come with the pins male and female?

my DMC crimper set cost a **** load.

they're on this website for 325. i paid about 500 for my set a few years ago.

Not sure if they sell them for those plugs but we use amphenol connectors in the mill with solder on pins not crimp. If your good at soldering you might want to look I to it cause the crimpers are about 250-300.

i found some crimpers online used for decent amount but not sure if they are the correct ones. can you send me a link to the solder on type pins and plugs. tia

The dmc crimpers are a great purchase. But there are 2 types of pins and 2 types of crimpers. Make sure they will work for the pins you choose.
