Default itr 4x114.3 question.

can a 4x114.3 itr brake swap be done WITHOUT taking the trailing arms, lca, ebrake cable, etc off the rear of the car? car already has rear disc.

Yes. Remove the rear spindle (good luck, lol) and install the 4x114.3 one. The 5 lug and 4x114.3 have the same diameter bearings but I don't know about the 4x100. If it does, then you can just replace the hub/bearing assembly instead.

Yes. I personally know that the 4x100 and 4x114.3 rear spindles are interchangeable (there are 4 t50 torx bolts that hold the spindle assembly in). 5x114.3, from what I've been told (a friend did it on his car, and is what my NEW plan is), is also interchangeable with the 4x100 and 4x114.3 spindles/trailing arms.

the bearing sizes on the 4x114 and the 4x100 ARE differenet, they are a little wider, if you try to put 4x114 hubs and bearings on a 4x100 spindle the nut will not go on.

But like Brandon said, swapping spindles are 10x easier than swapping trailing arms as long as the torq bolts come off.
