i noticed here lately when im on the highway that my o/d takes a long time to kick in. Is it because its cold and the fluid in thick and needs to warm up or is there a solinod goin bad? any help will be nice. need to know if i need to look at anything or replace something. thanks james

When is the last time the fluid was changed? Usually it kicks in at speeds above 50mph when you let off the gas. So if your accelerating moderatly up to 60 or 70 then let off it will kick into OD.

there is no filter to this trans to change. if its kicking out of over drive thats not a good sign unless ur more then past half throttle. drain some fluid and add alil bit of no slip lucus. it actually does work pretty well in the d series trans ive used it in mine before it went bad and got alot of extra miles out of it that i know i wouldn't have got without it. see if thickening the fluid up with that helps at all. it will take 500 miles or so for it to fully mix in. id only add half a bottle and try that.
