Ok i have a stock 93 civic lx. 5 spd. i replaced fuel pump/filter, ignition module/and coil, spark plugs. it comes to find out i needed to replace my IACV( idle air control valve) i was driving and my rpms started fluctuating and then stalled out. i tried to restart the vehicle but no go. i am about to replace the iacv but why did the car not start? any ideas would be great.

 

Sounds like the dizzy would be the main culprit. Check that.

 

check if you are getting spark test the coil with a multimeter

 

and that is all?

 

Normally, first thing to check... and usually, it`s the dizzy or the coil.

 

sorry ,but my english suks ,what is the dizzy ,can u put an picture please ?i have problems with an honda civic 1998, last night was ok ,this morning not ,turn the key and just starter work ,engine not started , i clean IAC ,spark plugs ,have not an multimeter so i put the spark on coil ,put on the groun to check the spark,well the spark is little and yellow,i think isn t condenser because spark exist,what i miss?
