Icon2 dx hatch b20 swap HELP. Bout to Lose it!!

Ok had no plans of swapping my hatch but the alternator had been surging and goin out for a while i was just to cheap to fix it. Well one day I was driving it and it shut off then kicked back on the died and wouldnt do anything. so i decided to get the duel point out and upgrade to a b series. Here is my de-lima I traced it down to the positive battery wire got to hot from being over charged that it snapped so thats why my car shut Off. now ive done the swap and the dpfi to mpfi swap. my ecu isnt getting power i checked/ replaced the ecu fuse, and changed the main relay. I have a solid cell when i turn the key on, and the oil light stays on. When I try and turn it over the E brake light comes on. Idk Just looking for any advice/ Ideas. Thanks

sounds like you got a short somewhere. if the battery positive got hot enough to burn its likely that other wires were damaged as well.

Check all grounds, especially the thermostat ground.

See I thought maybe another wire might be messed up but why would I get power to the dash. Also when I unplug my ecu the cel. Go's off . So it knows the ecu is there
