having an issue with my swap
b20 swap in 95 hatch
so heres the deal, i put the swap in, went to try to start it and had nothing. battery is perfectly good so i knew that wasnt the problem. saw i missed a ground so i put it on. then when i went to put the pos. batt. cable back on again it sparked real bad and started to melt my terminal...took the ground back off, cable went on just fine. WTF IS GOING ON?!?!?!? i've never had this problem before in all of the many swaps that i've done!!!! so frustrating after working on it till 2 in the morning to try to get it done. someone please help me out here!!!!!

Well.. my friend had a similar problem.. forgot his main ground.. fried something in his harness so when he connected his battery it was shorting somewhere on the car and in turn gave a positive charge to the chassis which shorted his battery out... BIG MESS!

Re: (Ayeso)
oooouch man! luckily mine wasnt that bad....turned out that since my engine bay was spray painted it wasnt grounding correctly. we sanded it down to clean metal and re-did the grounds and it was all good then.
