Default Tris State area body shops

I was just trying to see if any of you guys have any suggestions for a local place to get a full respray and some minor body work done. The car is going to get a full spray inside and out and have a few small dings fixed.I am looking for reputable places in the NJ/PA area or maybe even a bit further out that do good work.I Have pics if anyone is interested in maybe taking it on.Let me know. Thanks

On another note I am very surprised this forum doesnt have a list of shops that are known to do great work.It seems that would be a great list to start.

You might have better luck posting in regional or asking some local car clubs.

Not to put a large group of car enthusiasts in a group but around here there arent many people I trust to do this type of work.I am willing to drive pretty far to get it done right.I am a pretty easy guy to deal with if I think the work is good and the price is fair youll get no complaints out of me.I will try the regionals also thanks.

My advice: visit some shops, ask for quotes and to see examples of their past works. Some of the good ones have websites with this information. Expect to pay quite a bit for a quality job, especially if there is body damage or rust (I'm guessing you're doing a color change huh?)

I was hoping to maybe do one but I have been quoted between 5-7 grand for a full spray inside and out ams bay everything and thats with me doing most of the dissasembly and reasembling the car.The car doesnt have any damage except for a few minor dings all the body lines are ok and all of the parts are brand new oem pieces so the fitment should be great. The only issues I can see is painting the inside of the car with the rollcage.Like I said before I dont expect anyone to do the job for free but 7 grand for the work I need seems a bit steep.Maybe some of you guys can chime in and tell me what something like this would run in your home state for comparison.

7 grand is alot around here, even for a complete respray. But with top line, show winning quality paint, 7 grand is about right. What are your goals? Also, what color?
