Help I am looking for a body shop in the S.F. bay area.
Help I am looking for a body shop in the S.F. bay area.
Does any one on this board know of a good body shop in the S.F. bay area?
I am looking for a body shop that does not overspray, that does not leave out parts, that does not overuse bondo.
I am looking for a body shop that knows Honda/Acuras.
Tell me about your experiences.
Which body shops should I avoid.
I would appreciate any advice you can give me. Thanks.

you should find a group of car guys, since they normally have a few guys that are very familiar with body shops.

Try Franklin Auto Body on 24 Franklin in San Francisco.... they do good work but they're pretty pricey... $3000 to paint a civic hb.

Yep. I know one in San Jose and a few in Los Gatos. Can't really tell you who to avoid. Who are you looking at? Maybe you could ask your insurance to reccomend someone that they use in the area.

westwind automotive in SF does a great job also. I've had my hatch worked on there a bunch of times. He does a lot of High End European cars but bodywork is bodywork....Everytime I'm in there I see tons of Porsches, Bmw's and always a couple of ferraris/.....

This outfit found missing parts on my civic that another shop forgot to put in. Pro work, highly recommend.
