Default Substitute for Hondabond?

My oil pressure sensor is leaking and while I wait for the new one to come in the mail, I was told to take off the sensor and put hondabond on the threads and I should be fine. I just ran out and all I have is silicone gasket filler and threadlocker blue. Would any of these things stop my leak for at least a week?

I would just buy a new switch. They are 10 bucks at the most. Comes with the threads already threaded.

A good substitute for hondabond is permatex grey. I actually believe its the same as hondabond, just without the dye added.

I used the Permatex grey instead of Hondabond for the valve cover gasket without issues.

^^ That is probably true, as I have never compared the stuff directly, only used the permatex, and my mechanic swears its the same (besides packaging). I know that the only difference between a "stone" headgasket and "ishino" that honda dealers sell the is the color, and higher price from honda. There are other examples of this same methodology I am pretty sure.
