Default Installing 1" MC/booster/prop-valve on CRX

Alright so to put big(est) brake booster/mc/prop valve on a CRX I need..

94-01' Integra (w/ABS) 1" MC
94-01' Integra (w/ABS) 1" Brake booster
90-93' Integra (w/o ABS) 40/40 Prop valve.

Can anyone verify this and will it all bolt up?

I've heard on the USDM MC you have to rebend/flare a line or something but on the JDM MC you don't.... I can't find that information anymore though..

thanks HT

Research has turned up....

Only *issue* was the different size fitting; the Integra uses a 12mm tube nut and 10mm. I simply used a what seemed to be difficult-to-find adapter
Picture of setup on CRX is here..

Can anyone verify this

..swap out your stock proportioning valve for one that says "40/40" on the side. This comes in Si and EX 88-91 civics, and DA integras.

If you want to use the DA 1" ABS MC and booster you have to put a different fitting (its larger) on one of the lines that goes into the MC.
On top of all that you can use a 1" MC from an ITR or a DC GSR. For that you will need both the MC and the booster, then you need to re-bend one of the lines to get it to bolt up. Fortunately there are no differences in the fitting sizes like with the DA 1" MC.
So the DA 1" MC/booster setup requires a different flaring/fitting or an adapter on one line.

The DC GSR or ITR 1" MC/booster setup requires rebending a brake line but no fittings.

I just did this swap in my EJ1. I put a USDM ITR master cylinder in with a 94-01 integra booster. I used 2 banjo fittings, 2 -3 AN to 10mm adapters & 2 universal 9' SS lines. I didn't declare or bend anything it all bolted up. I'm about to do the same thing to my DA bought the parts from summitracing. If you want the part numbers pm me.

OP - the JDM ITR mc has 10mm lines for the front and rear. But you will have a tough time finding one. You may need the matching booster as well as the 2 bolts going into the booster is completely parallel to the ground.

The usdm gsr/ITR (or any abs equipped dc) has the 12mm rear line.

I went with the integra RS non-abs 15/16 mc and matching booster. Works well on my set up.

All '98 - '01 Integras and '96 - '00 Civics are setup that way. Just get a booster from one of those cars.

I finally went with an Odyssey (96) 1" MC and booster.

The odyssey has both fittings on the PASSENGER side of the car, and they are parallel to the ground. the one in the REAR is 12MM, and the one in the FRONT is 10MM.

The mounting bolts for the MC to the booster are at 2 o'clock and 8 o'clock - NOT parallel to the ground. They are offset..

Hopefully this helps someone looking to do a budget 1" MC/booster setup.

odysseys are common in junkyards.
