Question: Master cylinder size is 1" for a 92-93 Integra WITH abs??
Supposedly, a master cylinder from a 92-93 Integra WITH abs will simply bolt on a EG non-ABS. No modding of hard lines, no need for different fittings.
So if you're doing an ITR brake swap/conversion all you need is a master cylinder and booster from a 92-93 Integra WITH abs, a 40/40 prop valve. It seems like a great way of getting a 1" mc to fit.
Can anyone confirm this?
Yes, I've read and read every post I could find for days. Everyone suggests a 94+ integra MC/BB but that requires bending and flaring of a brake line.

my understanding is ABS and non ABS are not interchangeable. (Edit: 7/4/05: Wrong info)
Edit: I just saw this thread was bumped from so long ago. You could use an ABS brake booster and master cylinder on a non abs car because the BB/MC have nothing to really do with the ABS unit. After the unit you cant use without a few mods.

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by 94eg! »</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">Get 91 EX 4 door 15/16 MC. It IS a dirrect bolt on, and has been confirmed a thousand times over. You only need 1" if you have ABS.</TD></TR></TABLE>
Really. I never saw that mentioned in any of the threads I found. Or I ignored them thinking I needed a 1" MC.
So I won't feel a need for a 1" MC? That means I can keep my brake booster too, correct? This is for an ITR brake swap.
Thanks so much for you help.

I like the felling of an integra booster better than the thin civic booster. Even though the 9/ 4 door 15/16 bolt on the civic booster, i'd use an integra booster.
