Hey Guys, I need help on finding info on 2000 Civic Si power doors to 96 Civic CX hatchback. I met a guy who offered to do the swap. He got the doors, and the wiring harness from a 2000 civic Si. He said that he would install the doors as if the the car came from the factory with the doors installed. He ran the wiring exactly as it came off the Si. Tapped all the wires to the fuse box everything seemed cool. The power mirrors and the power windows are working but the power locks don't work. The guy tried tried fixing them but couldn't finish the job. Now he won't take my calls. Any help would be appreciated.

 

well he's a idiot cause if you wanted factory install you should have used 96-98 ex door's and floor harness. if this is done right it plugs into an existing spot on the fuse block . and 96-98 the door lock module is in the drivers door and 99-00 it's in the drivers kick panel unless he took the interior,and carpet out it's not run like the factory

 

i think all you might have to do is change the door wiring harness

it's the only module in the door. it will be blue.

I found the blue box in my glove compartment. Took off the door panels. Can't find anywhere where to plug it into.

 

You will need the 96-98 harness, the si's has the control box I think in the drivers kick panel, I doubt the plug is compatible.

There are numerous differences, but the big thing to remember is it all has to match. Get a '96 - '98 floor and door harnesses and make things easy for yourself.
