Just Did Oil Change Nothing on Dipstick
Car is a 96 EK with a b18b with about 120K miles on it
I just did an oil change and added the factory recommended 4 quarts. Started the car checked for leaks ( which there were none ) then i checked the level on the dip stick there was no oil on the dip stick.
First i thought i had the wrong dipstick but when i went to the dealership and compared mine to the dealers it was the same length.
Car parked over night no oil on the ground.
any suggestions H-t?

Dumb question, but I have to ask just to make sure. Did you start the car for about 15-30 seconds for the oil to cycle through after you did the oil change?
Started the car for about 1 minute to check for leaks on the drain bolt and oil filter. the turned it off and checked the oil level. and there was none on the stick
Yeah it would, but like I said it's a dumb question. It's happened before which is why I asked. If there aren't any leaks I wouldn't worry about it so much unless you're burning oil. My motor did the same thing and I swear the next day it was at level. Let it sit for the day and check it again tomorrow. Just listen to the motor and make sure no unusual noises occur.

is it the right dipstick tube?
are you on a slant?
i say call it a day! you know you have enough oil in it and it aint leaking.
