Default NO VTEC! Randomly works. What is going on?!

I have a p28ecu with Hondata 2b. Vtec is not working properly. It will randomly work when I start the car sometimes, then it will just stop kicking in.

Sometimes it works, and sometimes it doesnt. It is weird.

I have checked:

Oil level is perfect
Normal operating tempature
Vtec valve works when 12V are sent to it

So what else can I check for? It works very speratically. I am stumped. Any Ideas are greatly appreciated.

make sure your computer isnt fried. IE swap it out with the same model and same settings to see if it is busted.

Tempature is defienetly high enough. I datalog, and it reads 190+. So it is for sure hot enough.

I do not have an oil pressure gauge, but I do have plenty of oil.

well, if your pump is going out or for some reasons its not pumping strong enough, vtec is not on even u have many oil.

My motor is brand new, including a new vtec oil pump. So I am sure I have plenty of pressure.

VTEC Solenoid working properly?

EDIT: I guess VTEC valve= VTEC solenoid? If so, check the wiring to make sure 12V is getting to it.
