h23a1 mods
what are the different mods that can be done for the h23a1 and where can i get the parts i would like to stay naturally aspirated but will go the turbo or supercharged route if i have to
hhhmmmm well start with intake first.. an AEM cold air is probably the best for an intake. secondly you would probbaly go catback exhaust or full exhaust including catback system, high flow cat and headers! once you have these 3 main elements (intake, exhaust, headers) you should have the basics to start more seriouse work. from there you may can maybe get bigger wires, fuel pressure riser, cams, cam gears, and go more internal! but the basics you should start with at i/h/e (intake, header, exhaust)
Im from Australia so dont ask me where you can get thst stuff.. try your local import/speed shop.

short intake, neuspeed n2 header, straight pipe, greddy pe exhaust, aem cam gears(untuned), brady's free mods, new clutch-act xtss, tranny, and flywheel-clutchmaster 8 lb
still have yet to install my ur crank pulley or remove the balancer shaft belt. planning on doing it in a few weeks, maximizing the mileage on my current belts.

if you ahve the money... go turbo for sure..h23 is perfect for turbo (low compression, high displacement).... if you have a lot of money and want to go N/A... go frankenstein or do a complete h23 to h22 swap and go for simple bolt-on's....
