Default 2000 gsr cluster in a 90 civic dx hatch

I saw the right up on 94 -99. My question is will a 2000 GSR cluster work.

If you want to see the difference then this should help...

https://honda-tech.com/forums/honda-civic-del-sol-1992-2000-1/94-97-98-01-integra-cluster-into-92-95-96-00-civic-wiring-diagrams-1053318/

Any of them can be made to work.

also have to consider that the vss is in your cluster now, and will not be in the new one, so more custom wiring will be needed to move the vss to the transmission and feed vss signal to the ecu and the cluster.

VSS = Vehicle Speed Sender (Mechanical)
VSS = Vehicle Speed Sensor (Electrical)

The 4th gens had a Sender in the transmission. There wasn't a VSS of any kind in the cluster. Unless you are referring to the "pulser" on the cluster. The sender was in the transmission and a sensor can be swapped in. The wiring will be easy as the sensor is nothing special. There is a write-up with all the information still on the first page... Regardless, that is a good point to bring up as most people don't realize there is more to it than just switching plugs and clusters.

i only mentioned it as the OP does not seem to have done a lot of examination of the service manuals or have a lot of experience of customizing electronics, not difficult but easily overlooked. give me the donor part, the recipient car, the wiring diagrams for each car, and a soldering iron and it will happen.
