96 honda civic lx. Need help.

96 honda civic lx. Need help.
Alrighty, so im a new user to the forums. Anyways, I have some issues with my car. For some reason the other day I had a leak of collant from around the top of the lower hose area, checked the hose and it had no cracks. Also there is a horribly loud humming sound comming from what sounds the back left near the tire. When i brake there is a clicking, mechanic said it could be a speedo cable? also idk if its jsut the battery but when i use a window or any power option its alomst like the power is "surging" if you will. The power steering is very funny, it almost feels like it locks, like its not smooth. Kind of hard to explain but it isnt smooth when driving. Any help is appreciated!

Check for a radiator leak or a bad radiator cap or leaking reservoir.

Could be a bad wheel bearing. Also remove the rear drum and inspect the brakes and strut.

Have the alternator tested.
