i have a 96 civic ex with the wiring for the y8 but have a y7 in the car. it keeps popping the alternator/speed sensor fuse, when this happens the speedometer goes crazy and my headlights and dash light pulsate. im still running the ecu from the y8 and have a ecu for a y7.just curious how to get the speedometer to work ive changed out the speed sensor twice and still has the same result,the alternator checked out and its fine.When i replace the fuse everything works fine for about five minutes or 3 miles or so.looked it up on all data and found that the fuse that keeps popping is also shared for the 2 O2 sensors could it be that one of those is bad. Any help is appreciated.

 

if you run that y8 ECU you're gonna be running rich as hell...just some FYI

 

ive been running that ecu for about 4 years no real problems.i have the y8 head and intake on the motor.
