When one circuit, [head lights] have an effect on other circuits, [clock] then the problem is almost always a ground.
I would start by checking the main grounds, batt. cable clamp and post, batt. to chassis and chassis to engine grounds, do not just eyeball the ground connections remove/undo them, clean both contact surfaces, [EG; batt. post and inside of batt. cable clamp] then reconnect, making sure connections ar tight.
Another ground to check is the ones at the thermostat housing, [engine harness grounds]. 94

can you give me directions on where all the grounds are located? cuz im looking around and i think the guy that did the swap (i got the car in this condition) didnt put all the ground wires in there.
