Valve is burnt or bent. Should I put new or take it to machine shop?

Default Valve is burnt or bent. Should I put new or take it to machine shop?
In my 99 civic EX valve is burnt or bent. Should I put new valve or should I take it to machine shop?

X2...Burnt and bent are two different things...if it`s burnt, you can replace it. If it`s bent, than might have to take it in..but which is it?

even if it's burnt i'd still take it to the machine shop and let them check it out

Car is misfiring took it to dealer and compression test failed. They told me its burnt or bent valve.
Do you guys know any machine shop near Hartford CT? How much should it cost?
