ok so i was driving into work this morning and was cruising at about 60mph and then car all of a suddend died, so i pulled over to the shoulder lane. I tried to start the car, car cranks but not getting any spark, main relay clicks on when its on the on postition and can hear the fuel pump priming. distributor and battery is 6 months old. no check engine codes. ignition has also been replace within 1 year. any help would be appreciated. trying to fix my daily. thanks in advance.

 

always start with your dizzy, it might be 6 months old but that doesn't mean it didnt take a **** on you.

 

Is the dizzy re-built, aftermarket, or used honda part?

 

new distributor should be under warranty

 

sounds liek your dizzy since you said no spark

 

I believe its a aftermarket dizzy. Gonna try replacing the dizzy with a working one. I lost the receipt for the dizzy so I can't replace it with a new one. Could it be the ignition switch also?

 

Got the car to start. Changed the ICM with one from my old working dizzy and the car fired right up.
