i go to change my dizzy and everything is fine but car does not start.. fire order is correct.. relay kicks in and everything but car does not start... just cranks and turn over.. put the dizzy in my buddys car and it started just fine.. any ideas?

I would check for fuel, and compression.

 

Did you have this proble before you replaced the dizzy?? ie is this the reson you replaced it??

 

im having the same problem with my civic, replaced dizzy and still no change. left a spark on the wire and turned the car over, no spark. i was driving and the car just cut out.

 

its my buddys car, and he said his old one is about to crap out on him.. i changed it for him before and fired right up.. now this time it dont wanna start
