FS: 93 Si hatch Iowa $2,300
$2,100
NO TRADE OFFERS PLEASE, I just purchased another car and only have room for one right now.
Selling my 93 Civic Si which currently has roughly 193k. Runs perfectly with no mechanical issues, no check engine lights, no grinds in the transmission. I have driven this car all over Iowa and trust it very much.
Interior is one of the best I have ever seen and is 100% stock, even has black cargo cover. Only thing missing in the interior are the floor mats.
Exterior of the car is pretty typical for a 93 Honda that has not had rust repair. There are patches of rust over both rear wheel arches and the drivers' side fender was recently backed into while parked on the street. Paint is a bit faded right now, but shines nicely with a good wax.
Maintenance:
-Both axles replaced this year
-Front and rear brake rotors and pads
-Lower ball joints
-In October of 09' the timing belt broke while I was driving on the highway. I removed the head, replaced the timing belt, tensioner, water pump, head gasket, and all the seals in the head. Took the head to a machine shop and they inspected the head which had no valve damage, so they only milled it. As I mentioned before the car runs very smooth.
Aftermarket goodies:
-Eibach Ground Control Coils with integra rates
-Tokico Illumina shocks in the front (5 way adjustable)
-Koni Yellow shocks in the back (fully adjustable)
-15" Bronze Rota Slipstreams with 205/50 General Exclaim tires
-DC Short Throw Shifter
-Magnaflow style muffler with turn down tip
-Sylvania Silverstar headlight bulbs
-Cheap Sony CD player
Known Issues:
-Small oil leak that I haven't had time to diagnose. Most likely cam cover, vtec solenoid, or valve cover gasket.
-Leaks a little water into the passenger floor when it rains heavily. Probably a leak at the bottom of the windshield.
-A/C worked when I purchased it, but slowly got warm so it may just need recharged
Can send more pictures upon request.
Please serious inquiries only.
