i took the poopy gsr manifold off and put on a type R. everything is hooked up but still idles at 2700. ANYBODY HAVEANY IDEA WHATS WRONG?? NEED TO GET FIXED SOOONNNNN!!!

 

gsr manifold is fine for a gsr ecu. an itr manifold won't even fit a gsr head. the itr copies like blox do but you have to adjust fuel pressure at a minimum for it to run right. oddly enough you usually have to dial back 3-5lbs of fuel pressure to get WOT right on the wideband


as for the high idle, it's a vacuum leak, beyond simple. you must must must scrape and sand every last spec of gasket off the cylinder head, then use a p72 manifold gasket and a new TB gasket. make sure you clean the seal on the idle control valve and that should be about it
