Default Distributor harness fast question

I swapped over to a a6 multi port non vtec harness
i swapped over to a pm6 ecu
i have the stock d15b1 dizzy"daul point" junk NOT USED>
AND i have what i believe to be a multi port dizzy
it has 7 wires with two orange three white two blue
while my harness to the dizzy only has 5 wires?

what do i do?
Car will start up with the d15b1 dizzy but shuts off once i let go of the starter
crank angle code is thrown. aka dizzy

will the distributor with 7 wires work?

first off. trash the z6 harness as it will not work for you (unless you are using the plugs from it). convert your car to mpfi using you stock harness or buy a conversion harness.

I am not really sure what this person is talking about, as you never mentioned a z6 harness.

The moral of the story is that those "extra" 2 wires on the MPFI distributor are the error code the ECU is throwing. You need to wire them up, or your car will not run correctly and always throw a code.

Search DPFI-MPFI swap, or go to the faq. there are plenty of notes on how to do the conversion correctly.
