Default d16y8 swap with code 91

OK, I swapped a d16y8 into a 97 civic cx hb andl i was searching around and I heard that you can use a 96-97 del sol ecu and not get the code 91
since they DONT have the ftps. but they do have the same engine D16Y8

would that be the best thing to do by using a del sol ecu?!? instead of fooling the ecu or swapping the fuel tank?

let me know what you guys think thanks!

i think they have tricks for this if you google search it. but i believe all civics 96-98 do not have this sensor. you could run these ecu's as well.

I would do the potentiometer trick but its unreliable... the cel will just come back on

if i were to get the del sol ecu what harness will i need to get for it?

Yes, it'll plug into any '96 - '98 Civic actually.
