Default ahhh fuel setup help!!

Currently have full blown dual wally 255 setup but my tuner isn't a fan of them and wants me to ditch it , run 1 255 and an inline 044 I wanted to run the full blown to an 044 but was informed it will not work ... Why? I do not know .. a street cell with 044 is gonna run me roughly 1500$ not too crazy about that ... I have id1000 injectors on a full build 84mm gsr and a 6262 looking to make 500-600 on pump and 700-800 on c or q16 .. help please before i go insane with the stress lol .. thanks guys

Didn't you just ask this? Just run two 340s with the full blown hanger since you already have it,there similiar in size just alittle shorter.

As long as you have a sufficient return I don't see the problem...please don't believe everything you read on honda-tech some people give advice based on personal preference rather than facts.

Yea thats why I edited my post I realized your still asking about the three pump setup not the 255 and 044..if your shootung for 800 on race gas I don't see why two 340s wouldn't be enough its some simple math involved.. the 044 flows 300lph around 70psi the stealth flows 340 at 40psi the downside to the stealth obviously depends on how much boost your running.. they also sell sump kits for the factory tank if you wanted to run dual 044s..you gotta realize 800 is a big number you gotta pay to play..you don't want to have any short comings with the fuel system only to shell out more money to upgrade down the road

I don't wanna go in the tank again installing the full blown setup sucks big ***** especially in a coupe with a 10pt cage in it ... You think the dual 340s are a way better choice over dual 255s?

Pfft...

I run a 255 HP in tank (with sock),
-6 feed ( From IN the tank, all fittings drilled out - including banjo with banjo to AN adapter drilled out and indexed))
GE rail
STOCK return (Not stock FEED as return)
044 under my feet
Upgraded wiring ( -12 ga with dedicated 30 amp relays to each pump)
FIC bosch based 1150s.
Aeromotive FPR
60 LB base

C-16

94 Accord
Built H22
T04ZR at 35 PSI falling to 32 up top

750 WHP/ 575 TQ @ 8750 RPMS with 1.2 MS left up top

Edit: 800 on a 6262? LOL.

I agree with whats been posted above from others for the most part, but NON of its MANDATORY . Its not like youre on ethanol.

or just upgrade fuel lines and run a aeromotive A1000. get 600lbs of flow at 90PSI. I can sell ya a new one shipped $380. Think -10 feed -8 return. should have plenty of flow on that.

It will be able to handle anything that is throw at it. When he gets tired of only 800 HP and wants to step it up he can without having to upgrade everything. And should check the flow rates of fuel lines.
Up to 250 HP = 5/16" or -04 AN
Up to 375 HP = 3/8" or -06 AN
Up to 700 HP = 1/2" or -08 AN
Up to 1000 HP = 5/8" or -10 AN
Up to 1500 HP = 3/4" or -12 AN
Then to find the sizing for your return line you have to take target HP multiply it by .17 so 800X.17 = 136 GPH Which
Up to 45 GPH = 5/16" or -04 AN
Up to 90 GPH = 3/8" or -06 AN
Up to 250 GPH = 1/2" or -08 AN
Up to 450 GPH = 5/8" or -10 AN
Up to 900 GPH = 3/4"or -12 AN

So yea it is WAY to big of lines right?

Granted he is only looking at an estimated 66 PSI needed, but you need to be pushing MORE then that other wise your going to be running low on fuel on WOT.

why would double 255's feeding an 044 not work?

I ran a single 255 feeding an 044 so that I could use 100psi base pressure

keep the fuel pumps how they are... sell the id1000s and get some id1600s or higher... and youll be able to hit over 600whp with low fuel pressure... much more efficient... my 2 cents... and leaves you options for later down the road...

^^^ that works too. With the larger injectors you will also be able to keep your duty cycle down.
