Could be Benson Sleeves, but person needs to give you better pictures.

Those are not Darton Sleeves. By the way they are installed they are more than likely not Bensons either.

If the block is not stamped Benson, then they could very well be RS Machine. They do open deck sleeves.

My Benson sleeved block is stamped right on the front of the motor under the B18C1 stamp.

"The important thing is his name is on every block and there are no excuses. He uses a sleeve designed by himself, manufactured by Darton to his specs and no one else can purchase it from Darton. It has been perfected over the last 10 years to work flawlessly. The real secret is in the person that does the install and the precision quality they demand of themselves. This is what sets Benson way apart from the others."

^^ Directly off Laskey's page regarding sleeving

Did you actually send your motor to be sleeved by Benson or was it bought used? Maybe in 2004 he wasn't stamping blocks, but I have a hard time believing you'd be the only one that didn't have the stamp on it. My buddy just picked up a 4dr GSr like mine and it has a Benson sleeved block in it, I thought he was bullshitting me til I saw the stamp.

Just an FYI, Dan did not engrave(CNC "Stamp") his blocks for sometime, it wasn't until he purchased a RMC Machining Center. From my memory it was between 2004-2005. So it is possible...

Clearly he started stamping his blocks some time after mine like West Werks said.
I sent to my block to Earl at Laskey Racing (RIP) back when Dan Benson wasn't dealing with the public directly.

Im on the 4th rebuild of this sleeved block and its still going strong. The deck is a lot shorter now though. ha
