have a 95 gsr with a chipped p28. check engine light just came on. showing number 3 manifold absolute pressure sensor

car is running and has vtec jumped up idle to 1500 and bogging. would this just be the sensor to replace? just trying to get some info before i buy a new sensor

 

Are you sure it has VTEC? I would think a faulty MAP would put it in limp mode

 

no it still was hitting vtec, i just went ahead and changed it, cel went off. running good again. guess it was on its way out
