Fender Bender Accident... Please Help!
Hello, I had an unfortunate fender bender. Due to the height of the other car my hood just crumpled right up! I have a few questions for you guys who have experience with changing the hood! Unfortunately, I have great insurance for liability but virtually none for collision!
I have a Honda Civic 2004 EX
Here is the damage:

Any other suggestions you guys might have to help me minimize the cost would be greatly appreciated. Thank you guys so much!

- What other years have identical hoods? I found this excellent site that allows me to see what model/yr are in the lot: Pick n' Pull. I was thinking of trying to grab one there if possible.
- What tools would I need?
- Is there a good resource on how to take a hood? I tried to look up some youtube videos but I didn't find what I was looking for.
- In the case that I can't find the part I need for a pick and pull. What is a good resource to buy a new hood from? Right now I am using Car-stuff. and Providence and Honda.

You'll need at least the hood, hood latch, bumper and grill. Can't tell if there's any more damage without a pic with the hood up. When getting a new hood be sure to get the hinges as well 'cause yours are probably bent.
All you need is whatever it takes to unbolt the hinges from the body.
Only 2004-2005 coupe and sedan hoods fit.
Good sources are eBay, every craigslist within driving distance, and here: http://www.car-part.com/ (nationwide salvage listings)

Seeing where it pulled on the hood latch and also right headlamp, i'd say your core support is at least going to need to be pulled, too. Id say there is a pretty good chance one you throw on your replacement hood that its not going to latch.
Thanks Lazlong! Yea, I figure most of the labor costs will be around fixing the hood latch, the bumper i'm fine with the way it is. I'll start checking out ebay and car-part now. Thank you!
