Default 2000 BMW (Total Paint Correction)

Thought some of you would like this. Paint on most black BMW's is pretty soft...so the clear coats are often in bad shape if proper care wasn't taken to wash the car. This one wasn't any different. If there is a silver lining...the paint isn't difficult to correct. In some places, the clear coat was damaged to the point where it couldn't be fixed. Overall though, it came out ok.

When the car came in...

Up close...

Each panel was like this...

M205 and Orange LC Pad (I varied light conditions to give a different perspective)

Fender shots

Hood shot

After sealant and wax. Optimum Tire Gel used on tires.

Leatherique used on every interior surface (a product I like more than 303)

great improvement imo.

it's funny because later gen BMW clear is the exact opposite. it's very hard and fights correction mightily.

in fact, OPT developed their spray polish and compound based on the need for such a product along the spartanburg production line. cermiclear ftl.
