Default 04 Ex build / overheat issue?

Finally got some pics up today. I bought this civic stock and have wanted one for a while. so far im happy with her. I overheated last night on the way to miami and noticed the fan was not on =/ anyone know where the fan switch / temp sensor is located?

Took a break to feed some pets
Then some damage from overheating/the towtruck

Check your coolant, if it overheated on the highway it's not the fan.

Don't just check the overflow, check the radiator too when the engine is cold.

Sorry lol I forgot to mention that we were at a dead stop on I95 lol coolant was fine I noticed that night the fan was not on. I bought a new one and tested the old one again and it seems to be working. It was not that night when I jumped it to the battery =/

new motor, new relay, and the fan is still not turning on. my temp guage sticks and I have to hit the dash multiple times for it to go up, could that cause anything?
