so i had CEL which was p0661...i cleared it with my scan tool and everything was fine...the next morning i go to start my car and it wont start!!!...i hear the fuel pump relay clicking and the fuel priming but it wont crank....i tried jumping battery and its still not doing anything...any ideas?

 

i also checked ecu & ignition fuses

By crank im assuming you mean that you cant get it to turn over. Try taking a really long screw driver and arcing the starter directly. Also check the the grounds and the power to the starter and make sure they didnt come loose. If all this checks out, and you cant get it to turn over even when you arc it with a screwdriver then its time to get a new starter.

When you try to turn it over do you hear anything? Can you hear the starter turning? Is the engine trying to turn over or just nothing?

 

when i try to turn it over all i hear is the fuel pump priming, fuel pump relay clicking, and 1 tick (i think its from the starter).

what is the easiest way to remove a starter from a 2002 rsx base model?

 

easiest way to remove the starter is to remove the intake manifold and go from the top. I know that sounds like a pain but it's not that bad.

 

thanks for the advise guys...it was the starter...its actually not that bad to replace..this is my first k series motor and i thought it was gonna be as hard as taking off a b series manifold...
