Hi,

I hear a clanking sound whenever I'm on the freeway and releasing the gas pedal. I only hear the sound when the car is going fast.

My car is a honda accord 93

 

auto or manual? can you tell at all where the sound could be coming from

could be an engine mount. make sure none of them are cracked

It's an auto. I can't really tell where it's coming from. Sometimes it's a clanking sound and other times its an "eheheheheh" sound

But anyone know if fixing it is the best possible situation? I was told that once it breaks the first time, fixing it doesn't help because it'll break again and again.

What's a better option: Fixing it or get another car
