hid bulb question

Default hid bulb question

i just bought cheap hids rite now to get my car on the road have 2000 civic headlights, is there suppose to be a clip or anything on the boot where the bulb goes in? or does it just sit in the boot. thansk guys

not sure what you mean by "boot" but the HID bulb just goes in the hole and you put the clip back over the back of the HID bulb. not hard to figure out. try looking at it.

put the bulb in the hole lining up the 3 "tabs" , push the clip back in to hold bulb in place, then push the 2 wires through the boot and push the boot till it fits snug over the headlight housing hole

Should be as simple as changing ur bulb unless u aint got the right number bulb..

Don't know what kind of cheap "kit" you bought but the bulb goes in just like the stock one came out.

what than how do you have your bulbs mounted now -_-
do yourslef a favor dont put that HID kit on it is horrible in stock headlights

dont have them mounted yet, car was a shell so i picked up headlights and didn't even realize they needed clips

Get a manual. Now. Especially if you don't know what simple parts are even supposed to be on your car.

We can all preach until our faces turn blue about HID's in a halogen housing. But you know what I pass dozens and dozens of cars with plug N play HID's in non projector housings. I just turn my high beams on. Ive pretty much given up on preaching about it. Because tomorrow ill pass more cars blinding me.

Edit: These are the clips you need. I tend to hoard parts so if you need them. Just paypal me like 5 bucks for shipping and the envelope and ill send them out.

thanks you have a pm. i get alot of flashes from ppl when im on my bike having hids in them but would rather ppl see me then not hit me. i just had another set laying around so figured would throw in the car
