Do you mean the 3x3 change? If so you need 9 quarts of HONDA tranny fluid. Drain, fill, drive for a few miles to get the fluid mixing, then repeat 2 more times.

Ohh, and the filter is internal, just clean off the magnetic drain plug well.

Sorry but im new to working on cars. I got into it about a year and a half ago, but what do you mean by 3X3? And the HONDA guy said drain the fluid, then put 3 quarts and let it idle for a while, drain it again. Fill it up then im good. That sound about right to you?
I relly appreciate you help

3x3 drain and fill. Do the process 3 times for a 9 quart replacement. Drive the car for a bit, don't just let it idle...

you can also disconnect the 2 hoses going to the radiator put them into a bucket with the car on jack stands put the car in drive and hold the brake. u can have some one add fluid while it drains or pump a quart out stop, refill, repeat over and over until the fluid being pumped out is brand new red atf color. i recommend using honda atf from the dealer only. this is the only way to properly flush it all out. these transmissions dont have a filter to change so fluid needs to be in tip top shape and changed every 80-100k.
