Default 98LX exhaust

Alright, so my exhaust manifold cracked. I am seeing that this is not an unusual occurrence. I decided I was not going to give in and spend a lot of money on a new OEM manifold. Instead I bought a new Pacesetter header off my buddy for 40$. Seem's to be pretty nice. I went and bought new gaskets and bolts. I also bought an O2 socket to avoid any uneeded hassle. SO my question is will this header hook up to my LX? Here's what I know:

- the LX has the header/converter one piece
- This header will fit to the head perfectly
- the EX came with the header and the converter after

What I need to know:

- Will this pacesetter header bolt up to the exhaust OR will I need to cut and weld to make it fit?

I can't seem to find a good answer. I'm not looking to add a CAT after the header. I'm going cat less and don't particularly care. I'm just trying to avoid and unwanted welding or hassle. Thanks a lot in advance!

I am pretty sure that the LX exhaust is longer due to no cat after the exhaust manifold. I could be wrong, but you might need to modify your exhaust also if I was in your place which i was a while back I would go to pepboys and buy a universal CAT like I have it cost 76 dollars w/ a lifetime warranty and than you could get a EX exhaust or get a EX exhaust with a CAT but it is Illegal to sell used cats so you will have a harder time finding one. Running without a cat is not good for the envelopment and it is obnoxious people say that there is back pressure but i rather have minimal back pressure than blow smoke everywhere
