Hey all. I've got me a problem, bought this one stock Midori green 96 civic dx hatch back in July. I drove 3 hours to get it and I drove it home fine. About last month, I've started noticing when I start it throughout the day, it'll crank over then bog like its gonna stall out and sometimes it does and my battery will be flashing on the cluster. When it does crank over and stay on, and bogs and stutters like a Harley Davidson, and once a month a cloud of thick white smoke will come out the muffler associated with the smell of antifreeze through my vents. When I try to drive car jerks and stutters even when it's fully stepped on then after a mi it'd it goes to regular driving. Then once a week the temperature will rise to overheat and I have to refill the antifreeze every week. I don't see any cracks or leaks on the radiator so I don't know what the hell is wrong. I drive it 30 miles a day so Im hoping it's not a bad head gasket or head problems. So if ANYONE can give me some things they might think is wrong please let me hear it lol. you might want to do a compression check. Sounds like a blown headgasket. Check the oil cap for milky residue.

 

Ditto the above^^^ sure sounds, [symptoms] like a blown HG. 94

 

Sounds like a head gasket, check the compression too. I'm in Dallas, I'll buy the car if you want hahah.
