spool valve leaking

spool valve leaking

Im getting alot of oil dripping from this. Is it an easy seal? Never messed with vtec stuff before

Not sure how i can be.... The spool valve is leaking. Looks like it is just the seals. I am not familiar enough with this part to be more spefic. Looks like it leaks where it bolts on

The solenoid...there are two seals/o-rings.....using a 5th gen as ref.

Simple fix, 3 bolts and then go order the gasket from the dealer, about 15 bucks, only fits one way, bolt back on.

The lower bottom bolt is a bitch to get to, just so you guys know. And yes, the o-rings are brittle and flatten out, so get it replaced. One is against the head while the other one is sandwich between the two.
