that .48 exhaust housing will make a huge difference. if your sticking with a t3 turbo there are a few factory turbos you could use as well, my buddy just picked up a t3 off of a saab 900 turbo and I think its going to spool really quick. also idk if your willing to change to a different manifold but a dsm 14b would spool super fast and have the ability to make the power you looking for as well.

Yea i would consider switching mani's. And ive read alot about 14b and the dsm t25. But both kinda seemed like a lil more than i need. Im wanting the smallest turbo possible the can still put me at my goal. I want more supercharger characteristics rather than turbo so that i have maximum drivability for dd'ing, this is also the reason im not shooting for more hp. Ive looked at the gt2252 and it seems like a good choice but i would have to fab somekind of adapter for mani and dont want to have to do that if i can find another small t3.

ya, the main thing is going to be reliability I know you've heard it before and so have I, Iv ran a ton of ebay setups and honestly you should be looking for a oem t3 turbo at the junk yard to suit your needs. I started the official ebay turbo thread so don't think this is coming from some hater but you would be much better off with a junk yard setup.

I kinda figured that but there are very few junkyards in my area and even less wrecked turbo vehicles. I've found a couple of t25s I could afford but none looked to be in very good cond. What u think bout the gt2252? I've even considered the gt15s and gt17s but I feel they may choke out up top

I have no experience with any of those turbos to be honest. if you want I can keep an eye out and swoop you up a saab turbo, Im pretty sure I can get one to you for about $100 shipped in good shape.
