200whp in b16 with greddy 14g...any opinions?
I have a greddy turbo kit for a d16 sitting in the garage...I originally wanted to put this on my old d16 but I got a really good deal on a b16. I was going to sell it to buy a b16 JRSC but after searching the threads..it seems that 200whp is a little more difficult then bolting a turbo kit on. So an idea dawn upon me that maybe i'd switch the manifold out with the greddy equivalent and call it a day...My motor now is a stock b16a2 with 72,000 miles and the following parts:
ACT stage 2 clutch with factory flywheel
RSR exmag 2.5 muffler with 2.5 piping
Testpipe
255lph walbro fuel pump
New fuel filter
New dist. cap, rotor, wires.
Waiting to be installed:
DSM injectors Blue tops (350cc?)
Greddy 15g turbo kit with original downpipe and IC w/ piping
-2 step colder NGK spark plugs
p28 or Apexi v-afc
Boost gauge
Apexi turbo timer
I am just looking for just a nice 200whp n up daily driver maybe boosting 10lbs at most. BTW this is in a 1992 civic sedan. I just basically want a little more pep in my step lol. I've read some post where they say the 14g runs outta steam up top but can anyone say it with some experience behind it?

I would not use a turbo that small on a b16, it would be much better suited for a sohc that can't pull the rpms that a b16 can. I have a evo 16g on my ls and it feels like top end falls off.

Probably better off selling it, but I dont see how you cant get to 200whp easilly with that turbochager.... the kit you listed in general is junk but it will get the job done, especially with the motor being stock your probably not going to rev past 8200.
