Default Bore the cylinders?? Should I?

I have a Del Sol Si. The one 1.6 SOHC VTEC.
The long term goal is a rev hard turbo kit. High boost so low compression components as well.

My question is should I bore the cylinders?
Is it possible?
If so, how many liters could I gain?
Will it give me power gains?
Will I have to change ANYTHING else if I bore?
What does it cost?

I couldn't find much on the web.
Someone give me a good explanation here.
Thanks!

Should you bore? if you want.

Is it possible? Sure, as long as you don't go too far.

You will need to change the pistons.

Look into YCP vitara pistons. They come in a number of sizes, and will handle quite a bit of power. If you can't find anything on the internet, you either didn't look, or need to get some lessons on how to use Google.

+1. And the liters gained will be negligable, more for a fresh surface for your new rings/pistons. I'm also trying to decide if I'm gonna bore or if I'm just gonna say **** it and run 75mm vitaras in the stock bore..
