As on the tin, I'm researching for what is probably my 5th suspension change on this car, and I want it to be my last!
Could you please post:

Spring Rates
Height Drop (adjustable via Spring Perch only, or via hollow in bas of shock leg?)
Use Type - Street(commute or weekend car?), Track, passengers?
Comfort comparison to OEM?

it depends on your budget. i suggest to get a coil over. a little bit expensive but it will save you money in the long run
using buddy club coil over on all of my cars. been using lowering springs but the shocks usually gives up within a year.

If you would buy quality parts, your shock would not give up in a year.
coil over last longer than lowering springs and shocks. also coil over has an advantage in terms of dampness and height adjustment.
if you are using lowering springs and using OEM springs. most of the time OEM and aftermarket shocks wont last that long. based on my experience.

Some on here have seen 9+ years on their Koni Sports with several different spring/coilover setups over the years.
If your useing lowering springs on stock shock, MOST will not last. However, there are a few exceptions to this.
Height adjustment, has noithing to do with how long a spring will last. Naturally, a shock that is on a slammed car may not last as long as another that is not, however, there is still many exceptions to that. Koni/gc is very popular with the slammed crowd, and I haven't heard of many issues from them with the setup.
Also, dampness? A shock getting wet with not affect it.
A quality shock/ lowering spring setup, should have no problem lasting just as l long as a coilover setup, if not longer. Half the coilovers made today are crap to begin with. 32 way adjustablitly? Give me a break.
I really don't mean to be rude at all, so if i come as a *** hole I am not trying to. But, you dont know what your talking about.
