Default 95 GSR?

i currently have a 95 Gsr motor in my 99 si but my ecu wouldnt throw emissions when i went for the inspection. idk what ecu i have but do i need a obd1 p72?
Does anyone know where i could find this & also, do the 96-00 obd2 gsr motors run faster than the 94-95 obd1's?
(idk if i should do a swap to the newer gens)

What do you mean it wouldn't throw emissions? How do you not know what ECU you have?

First you need an obd2 gsr ecu. Second you're going to have to fix the check engine codes. You're pretty much converting from obd1 to obd2.
