greddy hp gains????
I was just wondering what are some hp and tq gains for the greddy turbo kit on stock internals and/or upgraded internals. I have searched but to no avail. I am a new owner of a 98' GS-R in san diego, Ca. I would love to have the drag, but I hear that the cops are starting to be really **** about turbos on certaint cars. (c.a.r.b.)
P.S. Is there a car club in southern Ca for the integra's? I would really appreciate any information on these particular questions. Thank you.

You'll get dicked for the GReddy as well. It doesn't matter what kit you have. If you have a BOV or IC, they'll give you a hard time. Might as well kill 2 birds with one stone. So, in this case, I would suggest the DRAG kit or piece together your own custom kit. Might as well kill 2 birds with one stone.
So I should go for the drag kit w/IC and try to not worry about the C.A.R.B sticker that makes the Greddy kit legal in CA. Why would I get D!(*#@ with the greddy if it is legal?
Yeah, unless .. Now granted in not a Cali person but I have seen people "cheat" and do side mount intercoolers tucked away in the bumper from the naked eye and cut alittle hole by the fog light area. Also some have relocated the BOV out of plain view, so there are some hints.

1. Get the Greddy that's CARM legal -> meaning, no BOV and IC - but that sucks
OR
2. Do what others say and get the Drag and take your chance and try and get a GReddy Carb Sticker to fool them, but if they see the BOV Im sure they will give you a hard time.
OR (but you wont do this)
When you go for your test,m take your kit off then out it back on, i meanit stinks, but then youll also have to worry about the cops if not the inspection/sniffer.

Expect about 200-210 without the IC. Dont go above 7psi and you'll be fine with the greddy kit, expect only low 14s and you wont be disappointed(well you might).
I know the guy who made that turbocivicsi.com site. He ended up running 9psi non intercooled. Best time was in the 14.2 range. He made 197whp at like 7.6psi w/o IC some chit.

well I have a decision to make and this is the most informative talk forum that I have been apart of. I appreciate all the information, knowledge is power. Hopefully I will have boosting power soon. The turbocivicsi site was very detailed, thank you guys. Sounds like I'll go greddy and IC once I save up then when the smog comes along I'll disconnect the IC and do the cai as stated earlier in the posts. I'll go with greddy cause of that cute blue sticker C.A.R.B. I'll find some way to hide the IC and BOV. My main goal is 320Hp and Show Quality. I know that it will take time. I'm young and I have the time and..............this forum to help in my goals.
