Default 93 Civic CX Hot Start problem?

Ok, so this just recently started happening, My car will start fine like nothing is wrong if Ihaven't driven it for a while. But if I cut it off at a gas station or a friends house to pick someone up, and cut my car off it won't cut back on. It is a b18c swap and the only way I can get it to start is if I pop the clutch while rolling then it starts right up. But when I turn the key the lights dim and everything but there is nothing, the starter doesn't do anything. The CEL comes on like it should then the relay clicks but no matter what it just won't start. Could this be my starter? I just changed the main relay with a OEM honda one a few months ago.

I would say starter battery or alternator.

If the alternator is going bad, it won't charge the battery while your driving. Eventually it will die while your driving. The radio will stop working first.

If the battery is not taking a charge, it won't start the car. Car will run like normal once it is started though. To test this, take the car to Autozone and have them test the battery and alternator.

If both check out good, I would look into replacing the starter. Also check the power cables going to the starter and the battery.

Well it doesn't seem like the battery cause my lights and everything and my radio works fine, and if I turn the music up with my subs on then the stay on if my battery is dead my radio won't stay on longer then a few seconds if my battery is dead. And it only seems todo this after I drive it for a good while, while I'm at school it has time to cool down and it always starts after that. But i was thinking it was the starter but I have 2 other batteries I can try but I don't know if that will fix it or not.

Well I know my alternator is good actually cause sometimes my battery terminal comes off the battery from hitting bumps to hard and no matter what the car won't turn off. So I'm pretty sure it's good. And also I like to turn my music up or if I forget to turn my lights off and start my car it recharges my battery just sometimes my car won't even attempt to start.

If your battery terminal is popping off when you hit bumps, then that is probably your issue. Replace the bad terminal or the entire cable. This will definitely cause a no-start issue.

Oh yeah I know, I was just using that as an example, but I had fixed that a while back, I took a trip to carrowinds and it scared me on the way back cause my headlights kept flickering so i fixed that as soon as I got home. But It's not a problem anymore.
